What’s the 411:

Top 5 Events:

  • Bastille Day Celebration at Belden Place, July 14 in San Francisco. The heart of the old French Quarter of San Francisco is the place to be to celebrate French Independence Day!
  • In the Heights, July 15 at the Contra Costa Civic Theater in El Cerrito. Before there was Hamilton, Lin Manuel Miranda won a Tony for this exuberant celebration of family and community on the brink of change, full of hopes and dreams, and told in the rhythms of three generations of music.
  • Dita Von Teese's "The Art of the Teese" Burlesque Revue, July 16 at the Fillmore. The Queen of Burlesque will be performing 4 of her iconic routines, including the “Martini Glass!”
  • W. Kamau Bell at the New Parish, July 20 in Oakland. W. Kamau Bell is back in the Bay Area with his live KALW talk show/podcast, Kamau Right Now! Kamau aims to create a "three ring circus of relevance" as he and his guests and a live audience try to figure out what is going on right now. There will be provocative conversation and awkward talks. There will be respectful debates. There will be much laughter (and probably a few hugs, too).
  • Cosa Nostra Strings at Black Cat on July 25, 9:30 pm - 12:30 am.
